Vietnam Post and VietinBank sign Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement

In October 2020, Vietnam Post and VietinBank jointly organized the signing ceremony of the Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement and the Service Provision Contract.

Mr. Tran Minh Binh – CEO of VietinBank and Mr. Chu Quang Hao – President and CEO of Vietnam Post signed the Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement

According to this Agreement, Vietnam Post and VietinBank agreed to cooperate in the fields of collection, payment and money transfer services. In addition, the two sides also prioritized to use each other's services while coordinating the design of service packages to suit the employees of two businesses.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr. Tran Minh Binh – CEO of VietinBank and Mr. Chu Quang Hao – President and CEO of Vietnam Post believed that in the spirit of win-win cooperation for a sustainability and fast development, Vietnam Post and VietinBank would make use and promote competitive advantages of both parties. Vietnam Post can take advantage of IT resources of VietinBank and VietinBank can also take advantage of the strengths in postal network and labor forces of Vietnam Post to intersect each party’s resources for further business development.

Mr. Chu Quang Hao – President and CEO believed this cooperation to bring advantages for both parties’ development in the future

According to Mr. Chu Quang Hao, President and CEO of Vietnam Post, Vietnam Post is providing public collection services for the Government, Vietnam Social Security, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, General Department of Taxation, and at the same time, is deeply involving in the public administration. VietinBank is also entrusted by the Government to participate in a number of public services. Therefore, the two parties will go together, Vietnam Post supports to receive and coordinate with VietinBank to provide payment and collection services with an overall solution to provide public administrative services for the Government.

Leaders of both parties agreed to continue to discuss detailed cooperation programs to sign specific contracts for the implementation of all future tasks.
