Promoting the role of an "extended arm" of the Government in the implementation of administrative reform, Vietnam Post continues to work closely with ministries, branches, localities and socio-political organizations to implement many important missions, tasks and government projects. In 2020, Vietnam Post has received and delivered nearly 20 million dossiers to handle administrative procedures nationwide. 100% documents, results of administrative procedures are delivered to addressees without any damage or loss. In addition, Vietnam Post also works closely with 36 provinces and cities to locate the one-stop section at the post office headquarters and arrange postal staff to receive records of organizations, businesses and people.
In particular, Vietnam Post has developed 360,000 voluntary social insurance participants, reaching 120% of the set forth plan, accounting for 57% of the whole social insurance sector and 5.6 million health insurance cards, reaching 105% of the set forth plan.
The revenue of Vietnam Post’s communal cultural post office system across the country also reached 3,800 billion VND, completing 105% of the year plan; Average income of CPO staff is 4.7 million / person / point / month, increase 21% compared to the plan implementation in 2019.
The above business results have been achieved by Vietnam Post’s strong decisive leaders and over 70,000 employees with clear strategy and synchronous business orientations; flexible, realistic business solutions to suite new situation and market demands.

According to Mr. Chu Quang Hao, President and CEO of Vietnam Post, in the Covid-19 pandemic, hundreds of tons of documents and goods were transported by Vietnam Post in cooperation with Vietnam Airlines in charter flights. In particular, Vietnam Post has accelerated the application of information technology, contributing to optimization of professional processes, improve labor productivity and service quality; at the same time, invest in a sorting system, equipment and tools in the direction of postal automation and digitization. Particularly, in 2020, Vietnam Post has put into operation 02 regional sorting centers and 08 provincial sorting centers in key provinces and cities. With the automatic sorting systems with a high capacity of tens of thousands of parcels per hour, Vietnam Post has met the average growth rate of over 30% postal volume.
Not only synchronously deploying suitable production and business solutions and scenarios in all changing conditions, by the end of 2020, Vietnam Post has made an impression with its leading role of the national postal operator in serving the whole community nationwide both ensuring production and business activities and well performing social security services. During the Covid-19 epidemic, in order to ensure the prevention of epidemics, many agencies and units had to temporarily shut down, the Post still pioneer in the front line of anti-epidemic services to provide postal services to all people in all areas. When the central provinces are struggling to cope with the historic floods, Vietnam Post is the first business to offer free delivery services for more than 1,000 tons of relief goods (worth nearly 13 billion VND) for organizations and individuals across the country.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Thanh, Chairman of Vietnam Post said that 2021 would be the foundation for the implementation of the business strategy target of period 2021-2030, Vietnam Post would drastically implement the suitable solutions to successfully fulfill the target of 2021 right from the first year of the business plan period. Total revenue in 2021 is set about 30,000 billion dong, profit 560 billion dong. By 2030, the revenue and profit of Vietnam Post is expected to increase 5 times compared to 2020.

requests Vietnam Post to engage more intensive in providing public services
Congratulating the results achieved by Vietnam Post, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Anh Tuan said that by 2030, Vietnam Post's revenue should reach 133 trillion. If Vietnam Post did not make a real revolution, it would be very difficult to successfully achieve the above goal. Therefore, as early as 2021, Vietnam Post need maintain and develop a public postal network, continue to participate deeply in public administrative services, with special attention paid to the placement of one-stop section at the post office and arrange postal staff to receive administrative records. In particular, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan required Vietnam Post to focus on training for Post Office staff at the commune level to deploy public administrative services to each citizen across the country.
Deputy Minister also noted that Vietnam Post focused on production and business activities, production organization, service quality improvement to ensure the best services. At the same time, Vietnam Post strongly applied information technology to develop physical flow and serve digital business. In addition, Deputy Minister Pham Anh Tuan also urged Vietnam Post to continue to maintain the good tradition of the Post and remote the development of corporate culture to each employee across the network.
At the meeting, Vietnam Post and many subsidiaries and individuals were awarded noble awards from the State, the Government, the Ministry of Information and Communications, namely: Nghe An Post with honored award of the First Class Labor Medal for the period 2015-2019, PTI Corporation with the Labor Medal, Second Class; Lam Dong Post with the Third Class Labor Medal; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Deputy Director of Hai Duong Post Office, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien, Head of Planning and Investment Department, Vietnam Post with the Third Class Labor Medals; Vietnam Post and 12 subsidiaries with emulation flags of the Government in 2020. Vietnam Post was also awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for its achievements in the anti-epidemic Covid-19. Prime Minister also awarded Certificates of Merit to 6 subsidiaries and 27 individuals in 2020; Ministry of Information and Communication awarded Emulation Flag to 34 Vietnam Post subsidiaries; Vietnam Post Workers Union also received the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 16 business units received Certificates of Merit from Vietnam Social Insurance (VSS).
