MIC appoints a new member for Board of Management of Vietnam Post
In the afternoon, December 12, 2019, Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) held the appointment ceremony to a new member for Board of Management of Vietnam Post. According to Decision No. 2134/QD-BTTTT of Vietnam Minister of Information and Communications, Mr. Phan Thao Nguyen - former Director of International Cooperation Department, MIC was appointed as the member of the Board of Management of Vietnam Post
Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Pham Anh Tuan gave the appoint decision to Mr. Phan Thao Nguyen – former Director of International Cooperation Department of MIC as a new member of Board of Management of Vietnam Post
Deputy Minister Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that this personnel rotation was the normal process and Mr. Phan Thao Nguyen was trained in the field of postal, legal affairs for 26 years, he also worked for VNPT Group for many years in charge of the international cooperation.

Vietnam Post Office is expanding and enhancing cooperation with international postal organizations, diversifying its business cooperation partner; the legal field also needs to improve the operational efficiency. Deputy Minister Pham Anh Tuan noted, with many years of experience to understand the principles of operation of the enterprise, Mr. Phan Thao Nguyen should join with other members of Vietnam Post Board of Management; together with all officers, employees, workers on the postal network to implement successfully the goals and action plans in 2020.

Congratulating new Member of Board of Management of Vietnam Post, Chairman Nguyen Hai Thanh shared his point of view that Mr. Phan Thao Nguyen was young, capable and experienced in business management in the field of international cooperation, legal affairs in accordance with the existing operation of Vietnam Post. From 2020 to 2030, Vietnam Post Office will accelerate the process of converting digital information technology applications in providing postal services. With this new appointment, the Board of Management of Vietnam Post would create solidarity among the entire staff and employees, successfully implementing the target of digital transformation and development strategy in the next period.
In his speech at the appointment ceremony, Mr. Phan Thao Nguyen promised to make every effort, together with Vietnam Post leaders and employees on the whole postal network to continue improving operational efficiency, ensure the sustainable development of Vietnam Post in the future
