Vietnam Post provides COD payment service via commercial bank connection
To increase the speed of COE payment for customers, reducing manual works and risk of cash payment, cash flow on the postal network, Vietnam Post has provided COD payment service through the portal connected with commercial banks.
COD payment through the portal connected with commercial banks or COD T+1 Payment is the service offered to customers using COD service and receiving collection payment in the form of bank transfer to the registered accounts on the portal connected between Vietnam Post and commercial banks.
This service is applied to customers using COD service of Vietnam Post and registering to receive COD money in bank accounts in two options: express money transfers and Unlimited ordinary money transfer.
For express money transfer: transactions are made at any time in a day, including Saturday, Sunday and holiday. The transaction amount per transaction is up to 300 million dong. Customers can check the card information, the beneficiary account before making the money transfer order.
For unlimited ordinary money transfer: customers conduct their transactions before 16h30 during Monday to Friday. If they make money transfers on Saturday, Sunday, holiday or after 16h30 in the weekday, their transactions will be completed in the next working day.
A part from coordinating with commercial banks to provide COD payment services, so far, Vietnam Post also offers a number of convenient services to E-commerce customers such as small package services up to 5 kg (VP2), EMS-COD preferential saving service, EMS – SCOD express service and My Vietnam Post app help customers with new experiences, more interactive transaction with postmen to easily follow the status of postal items.
