Vietnam Post reduces service fees, shortens delivery time

From January 1, 2021 Vietnam Post officially launches the "E-commerce Delivery" service to offer more new incentives to meet the maximum requirements on service quality, time standard and delivery costs of e-commerce customers. This service will replace the former delivery services related to e-commerce customers of Vietnam Post.

According to Vietnam Post, in order to diversify the choice for customers, E-Commerce delivery services will be divided into different categories: EMS E-Commerce Service, E-commerce Standard Delivery Service.

The new feature of E-Commerce delivery service is that the service fee will be full charged to simplify the service fee calculation for online business customers, collection service fee will be exempted for all e-commerce business customers.

From 2021, Vietnam Post's e-commerce delivery service fees are calculated in the package at 12,000 VND per item (VAT included). Compared to earlier, Customers will also be exempted from more types of service fees such as: collection fee, inner-district return fee, home delivery fee (up to 2 times), delivery notification fee applied to senders via My Vietnam Post app or email... In addition, for returned items, customers get 50% discount for delivery service. The calculation of volume conversion for mail items with over 50cm is also adjusted to save up to 30% compared to the previous calculation.

In particular, transportation time is also 1-2 days shorter than before. Specifically, the delivery time of EMS E-commerce delivery package is from 0.5 to 3 days (depending on the delivery scope). E-commerce standard delivery package is from 1-4 days.

With many years of experience in providing e-commerce and logistics services, Vietnam Post always wants to bring maximum conveniences to customers.
