According to report of the MIC, in the first 6 months of 2021, the volume of postal items has reached over 590 million, increasing of 30% over the same period in 2020. These figures show that the market's demand for delivery will grow faster. Along with that, postal enterprises will also increase in both quantity and quality and the competition will also become more fierce.

Vietnam Post owns diversified transportation system, helping optimize the transportation of goods

Being aware of the development trend of e-commerce, from the beginning of 2021, Vietnam Post has deployed to diversify postal delivery and logistics services. For each service group, Vietnam Post optimally designs a range of products and services to suit many different types of customers. Typically, international delivery service group with 11 services, e-commerce delivery service group with 04 services, logistics with 03 services, etc.

The Mail Sorting Centers and Logistics centers are invested by Vietnam Post and equipped with automatic sorting system with a capacity of tens of thousands of postal items/hour, meeting the average growth rate of volume over 30%. The system can sort items in detail to district and commune levels through reading barcodes and analyzing postal images, at the same time integrating with Vietnam Post's IT systems such as: Vmap, Vpostcode, etc. as well as build a continuous, synchronous and optimized process from accepting, operating, sorting and delivering items at the customer's address.


Automatic sorting system with a capacity of tens of thousands of postal items/hour is invested by Vietnam Post to increase the speed of operating items.

In parallel with the simultaneous deployment of warehouse platforms in both traditional logistics and e-commerce logistics based on data analysis and optimization of delivery routes, Vietnam Post also promotes the provision of platform for e-commerce and outsourced logistics customers such as warehousing, order fulfillment, packaging and delivery at addresses. Thereby optimizing the goods circulation processes, significantly reducing logistics costs for enterprises.
