Mr. Nguyen Kien Cuong, Executive Vice President of Vietnam Post, said that the establishment of Vietnam Post Digital was the transformation of Vietnam Post from a traditional postal operator to a service provider to provide digital services in many different fields.
Vietnam Post Digital will focus on developing digital products and services, mastering digital technology, organizing business implementation, developing the salesmen towards digitization, and supporting digital transformation activities of Vietnam Post. At the same time, operating smart digital tools and applications is expected to be the core foundation and also a key force for Vietnam Post's innovation, creativity and comprehensive digital transformation.
To affirm its position and develop effectively in the first years of entering the fluctuated Fintech market, Vietnam Post Digital has built a development strategy with specific steps in each phase.

“Vietnam Post Digital is the complete step for Vietnam Post's digital ecosystem, playing a key role in the digital transformation strategy as well as the formulation of a digital citizen, digital economy, digital government and digital society of the country", affirmed Mr. Nguyen Kien Cuong.
Earlier in April 2021, Vietnam Post was officially licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam to provide payment intermediary services with 04 services: e-payment gateway, e-wallet, e-money transfer support, collection and payment support.
