Vietnam Post ensures stable circulation of goods during the Lunar New Year 2022

There is less than 1 month left until the Lunar New Year 2022. This is also the busiest season for the "postmen" of Vietnam Post when the needs of customers to shop and send goods are in rush hours of the year.


Vietnam Post has fully prepared plans to ensure all goods are delivered to recipients before the Lunar New Year 2022

Forecasting that the demand for postal services of customers will increase by 2-3 times compared to normal days, Vietnam Post has soon fully prepared plans and implemented many solutions such as increasing the capacity of whole network and labor; expanding and making the most use of the operation floors, transport means to be ready to operate stably the flow of goods to prevent the accumulation of goods ensuring all items are delivered to recipients before Tet.

The gradual transition of localities to the "new normal" is also one of the favorable factors for Vietnam Post to speed up the transportation and delivery of goods in all provinces and cities across the country. However, Vietnam Post is still ready for flexible response scenarios in all situations and enhances the spirit of absolute compliance with pandemic prevention regulations such as cleaning, disinfecting post offices, wearing standard medical masks, keeping a safe contact distance when transacting, delivering items to customers, instructing customers to fill medical declaration when they come in post offices, etc.


Increase labor force at operation floors, meeting the high volume of items in the months leading up to Tet Fest

To increase the IT experience as well as ensure the safety of customers receiving goods during the pandemic, Vietnam Post has recently expanded the pilot implementation of smart lockers “Post Smart” in 12 provinces and cities across the country, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An, Can Tho, Kien Giang. Customers can actively pick up goods at the lockers at any time, not depending on the delivery time of post men or the opening time of post offices.

To receive goods at Post Smart, customers can contact the hotline, the phone number of post offices, or in fanpage of Vietnam Post, create changes of addresses on the My Vietnam Post app or ask postmen to deliver at expected locations in case of arising or being not convenient to receive goods.


Post offices always ensure strict implementation of Covid-19 prevention measures.

In addition to basic document and goods delivery services, Vietnam Post is also providing many additional services such as cash on delivery (COD), goods insurance, insured service with high-value goods etc. to ensure convenience and peace of mind for customers. Moreover, from now until the end of January 31, 2022, Vietnam Post will apply free of charge with additional services when sending goods with food content as a gratitude program for customers who has been faithful and trusted to use services of Vietnam Post during the past time.
